- no uniforms
- no cut lunches going soggy
- no homework
- no bullying
- no comparisons with other kids
- no testing
- no learning boring stuff!
- no peer pressure
- no drop offs and pick ups
- CELEBRATING INDIVIDUALITY!!!
- learning about things that interest us
- gardening!
- it's easy to be a non consumer family!
- visiting museums, zoos etc when they're empty!
- maths at midnight, but only if you feel like it
- REAL socialisation with children from all walks of life and all ages
- FREEDOM!
- learning to think for ourselves
- learning to read between the lines
- holidays any time it suits us, not just when every one else is on holiday
- real, genuine relationships with each other
- learning life skills
- no need to fill time, it fills itself!
- kids at midwife appts, not at school!
- helpful, responsible, participating, happy, CHILDREN!!! Children, not sheeple!
